At CheckFuud, your privacy and security when processing your food data is our priority. This Policy describes how we collect, use and protect your information.
- Images (Photos and Barcodes): Photos taken with your camera are sent to our artificial intelligence models temporarily for nutritional analysis and OCR. Photos are NOT sold or used for marketing purposes.
- Health / Allergy Data: The dietary preferences you configure (e.g. Gluten-Free, Vegan) are stored locally on your device (AsyncStorage). We do not link this information to real personal identities.
- Usage and Subscriptions: If you choose to subscribe, we use a third-party service (RevenueCat and Apple App Store) to validate your payments. We do not capture or store your credit card data.
Your scanned food history is stored in your device's internal memory. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the cache from the app settings.
